Amalia Karaeva from Amalia Loves talks to us about her love of fashion and where to shop to get her on trend pieces
Ever since she can remember Amalia has been obsessed with fashion, styling and all things glamour. Amalia’s fresh and unique take on trends made her styling advice valuable amongst her friends and family.
After graduating from university back in her home country of Russia Amalia moved to Australia and made Sydney her base where she worked across fashion and beauty industries for the last ten years.
Just over a year ago AmaliaLoves.com was launched. Fashion and style blog and a creative hub where Amalia shares her styling and beauty tips and everything else she genuinely loves. 2. Since becoming a mum, how would you describe your style? Has it changed?
Luckily I could fit into my old clothes straight away so no my style hasn’t changed.
3. Where do you shop and what brands are your favourite?
I still love shopping in store more than online. There is something about being able to touch the piece and try it on that thrills me. I shop at department stores a lot – mainly David Jones and Harrods, also love Cosmopolitan shoes. Few of my favourite brands are Sass&Bide, Camilla and Balmain.
4. What’s your favourite item of clothing?
Cannot live without my Balmain blazers
5. You’re must have items in your wardrobe are..
Blazers, lots of blazers, silk shorts and heels
6. What is your best fashion tips/ advice for mums?
Dress up. Nothing worst that feeling and looking tired. Make an effort it will make you feel a bit more like “you’ve go this”.
